ARTESIA PUBLIC LIBRARY

Artesia celebrated the opening of the new Artesia Public Library in March 2014. The 25,000 sqft building is designed to be a centerpiece for the community with its vast windows, signature roofline and featured Peter Hurd mural. Architect Jose Zelaya of Albuquerque, NM used a variety of styles and local influences to honor the region’s heritage while providing a 21st century state-of-the-art library.
